Heat gun is a versatile tool with wide applications. Most commonly, it is used to strip paint, adhesives, plaster, spackle, and floor tiles. This tool is also widely used for shrink wrapping of plastic in packing and heat shrink tubing in strengthening and protecting the wire connections. Aside from these common applications, the heat gun can also be used as a finishing tool for post-processing in 3D printing. By its heat, it melts away unwanted plastic parts of 3D printed objects.
